About Me

About Me

My name is Lydia Bramley. After the breakdown of my marriage, after multiple dislocations over consecutive years and a diagnosis of hypermobility, I made the difficult decision to leave the career in the fire service I had pursued for over 10 years. My mother was then diagnosed with breast cancer, all in the space of a few years and I was feeling very depressed.

I didn’t want to get out of bed, I didn’t know what to do and I was finding it difficult to function.

My work suffered, I had to have time off, I distanced myself from family and friends and I knew something had to change or things were going to be too hard to come back from.

At the time, I felt completely overwhelmed by everything and I knew I needed some help in order to get out of the darkness I was consumed by.

I made the decision to visit an NLP Practitioner and my life has changed forever.

I have always felt a pull towards helping people, I just wasn’t ever really sure what that meant in terms of what that career would be.

My mental health was the  worst it had ever been & seeing the differences NLP made to me personally, it felt like I had found the missing piece of the puzzle.

My thinking was clearer, I was able to understand what I was feeling and began learning to control my thoughts and emotions.

I had now deciphered what my purpose was & how I was meant to be helping others.

Whilst continuing to work for the Ambulance Service as a 999 call handler, I pursued my dream of becoming an NLP Practitioner.

I have made the decision to continue working for the ambulance service although I have followed my heart and transitioned to part time in order to pursue my coaching calling & to be able to help as many people as I can.

Having come from a position of depression, overwhelm & despair I have first hand knowledge & understanding of the trials faced by people suffering from mental ill-health & from this standpoint & perspective I am confident I am more than capable & qualified to help.
