I was unsure what to expect when seeking the sort of services Lydia provides, however I recognised that I needed external input and assistance in order to refocus and readjust following a particularly difficult period in my life.
From our initial consultation, Lydia took great care to understand my story and needs and approached them in a "positively selfish" manner. Her methods have focused on what I can personally do to move forward, not to question, but to assess and understand.
Lydia has been accommodating to my needs, offering face to face and video sessions. This flexibility has afforded me the means to stay connected whilst balancing work and social commitments.
She has seamlessly tailored the sessions to the "now," keeping in sight the larger picture whilst focusing on my short term priorities and concerns - I have no doubt that this has greatly aided in my progress.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Lydia to anyone who wants to regain control of a rough patch and I am confident that in continuing to work with her, I will emerge far more equipped to focus on my goals and ambitions.
I visited Lydia Bramley for my first ever session of NLP.
This was all very new to me and initially I was very nervous about what the process would entail, however Lydia made me feel very at ease.
She explained the process and how it worked in detail.
We then proceeded to discuss some of the things I'd like to improve or had difficulty with.
It was lovely to have someone to talk with openly and get an outside perspective from.
She gave me lots of ideas on how I could adjust my behaviour to ensure a better outcome or tools that are available to assist me.
I must admit I was sceptical to begin with, however I came out feeling refreshed and full of energy to make changes.
There has also been a marked improvement in my sleep pattern since this session.
I would highly recommend Lydia and have no doubt I will be continuing this in the future. 5*
Throughout my training with Lydia, I have felt supported and listened to.
Coming up to the first session I felt as though it might have been difficult to really open up and engage however within the first 10 minutes, I felt like it was free flowing, supportive and without judgement.
At no point did I feel as though Lydia wasn't listening to anything I was saying, and I always felt as though her feedback and support was constructive, even if it was not what I wanted to hear.
Her truthful, honest and pragmatic approach really helped me in understanding the way I think about things and I find that I am now considering different perspectives about everything. This helps me to feel calmer and more at ease in my general life.
I would recommend this to anyone who feels as though their life needs to slow down, or as though they have hit a bit of a crossroads in life. I definitely feel more confident and although it is a bit of a work in progress ( and through continuing to work with Lydia,) I do not overthink anywhere as much as I used to.
